The story of rock star Peter Buck of R.E.M. who famously got
taken to a British court charged with air rage whilst on a British
Airways flight from the USA. Peter's solicitor managed to turn the whole
court case into a celebrity circus by calling Bono and Michael Stipe as
character witnesses. Peter got off but British Airways banned him
from ever flying with them again. (However Peter
Buck flew first class from USA to London two years later).
